Tis the ghost of old Tom Morris coming to visit you in your modern world. Aye, long ago we watched the shepherds tend their flocks and in their boredom invented a little game of striking a stone with their crooks and knocking it over the countryside and finally the champion was declared who first put his rock in the rabbit hole. Of course, bets were made and settled but the game continued till the next hole. In time we learned from the shepherd and developed this golf into a gentlemans game; and designed certain and proper rules for the purpose of betterment. Aye, and in 1745 the first rules of golf were drawn at Murfield, Scotland and signed by the club captain John Rattray. The rules were adopted in 1754 at the Royal and Ancient of St. Andrews. What we are offering Laddie, is a framed reproduction of the first Rules. Let us not forget the history and the love of this game...GOLF!
Bless You Laddie,
